Grabbed a hot Dutch oven out of the coals and this suede pad didn't even get warm on my hand—the 572°F rating is no joke. The reversible design is nice too, gives me two sides to work with depending on which pot I'm handling.
Pulled a screaming hot cast iron skillet out of the oven yesterday and the suede handled it perfectly without any heat coming through—even the stitching held up fine. So glad I finally found something that can take real heat without melting or burning my hands.
