The dimming dial is so smooth that I can go from a soft glow for late-night card games to full brightness for cooking without any jarring jumps. The carabiner top made it a two-second job to clip it to the tent's center loop. Already planning to grab a second one for the other side of camp.
We take this everywhere now—hanging it from the tent ridge with the carabiner takes seconds, and the sturdy base lets it sit on the picnic table without wobbling. Dimming it down for late-night card games is a game changer, and it held its charge through a whole weekend trip.
