The Cowboy Wok (otherwise known as a Discada) gets its name from the shallow, contoured disc-shaped pan that provides a large cooking surface, heats quickly, and holds its temperature. It was historically used for dishes such as paella, carne asada with fresh tortillas, and big mix-it-all-together breakfasts in cowboy country.

The Barebones Cowboy Wok is crafted from durable low-carbon rolled steel with twisted, hand-forged steel handles. This 15" diameter is ideal for cooking for a small group while camping or on the go. Added steel stand adds cooking options, and canvas/cotton carry bag makes quick work of packing and travel.

Took it camping last weekend and the shallow disc shape really is the star—the whole surface gets hot evenly, so I cooked onions, peppers, and steak all at once without any cold spots. It held its heat even when I piled on a second batch. Cleanup was a breeze too, which I didn't expect from somethin

I can fit a whole pound of ground beef and onions in this pan with room to stir—the shallow sides make flipping easy without spillover. The heat distribution is so even that my bacon crisps up faster than on my old cast iron skillet.

The wide, shallow disc heats up in no time and stays hot even after I drop a pile of cold veggies in. Makes searing a batch of fajitas for the crew so much easier than wrestling with a flimsy camp pan.
