The folding legs are the best part—they pop out in seconds and lock solid, so I can set it up right on the dirt without any wobble. Cooked three steaks and a veggie skewer over the fire pit last weekend and the surface stayed flat the whole time.

This thing handled a full evening of burgers and brats without warping at all, which was my main worry with any steel grate. The folding legs make it feel solid once set up, but pack down flat enough to toss in the trunk without a second thought.

Took this grate on a weekend camping trip and the folding legs made setup a breeze. The steel handled the heat from our open fire perfectly, no warping at all. It's simple but does exactly what it should.
